Dearest Tribe Members,
During these confusing times it is certainly challenging to know where to find the truth about any matter. I myself struggle with this daily. As I thought about this, I reminisced about my days in my Georgia clinic. As many of you are discovering, doctors are instructed to encourage patients to accept medications or procedures that we personally do not agree with. This is the corporate system that we are caught up in, and it is not about having the health of the patient first. Instead, it is about profit and other underlying motives. I thought about how I guided my patients into finding facts so they could make their own educated decisions, and in this way we navigated through the confusion successfully.

I grabbed my patient’s chart outside of the exam room door and quickly read the reason for his visit – a flu shot. I called out to my nurse to bring one of the flu vaccine boxes to me while I went in and greeted Mr. Greg Jones.
Mr. Jones was standing up with his arms crossed and leaning against the countertop in the room. I could tell he was in a hurry, and didn’t want to talk about much.
“Why do you want to get a flu vaccine?“ I asked. Greg replied, “I’ve got too much going on, and I don’t have time to get sick. I got too many bills to pay and I just can’t afford to miss any work. I need this so I don’t get the flu.”
“ OK” I answered. I started to unfold the small white paper that was folded inside the box that accompanied the flu vaccine.
“However, it is my duty to give you informed consent which means I have to tell you all the pros and cons of this drug so you can decide if the benefit is worth the risk. This paper I’m unfolding is called a package insert and every medicine should come with one of these. It has key information on facts about this shot you want to take.”
“Doc, it’s just the flu shot, what can it hurt?”
“Well let me read to you what the manufacturer is telling us. This section lists possible side effects which include flu, headache, bodyaches, allergic reaction, Guillan Barré (a permanent paralysis of the body), seizures and-“
Greg interjected “Paralysis and seizures? Have you ever seen someone get those reactions?”
“Yes, unfortunately I have seen patients who had these severe reactions and these are only the immediate side effects. There are intermediate and long-term side effects too.
So now you know some of the risks, let’s see what the manufacturer tells about the benefits of the shot.”
I highlighted a section and had him read it.
Greg began reading out loud “ “This drug has not been proven to protect against the flu.” Wait a minute- how is this possible? How can they tell us it works if they don’t know?”
“Mr Jones, the flu strains they use in this year’s vaccine are based off of educated guesses, not facts. They look at trends in China that may come to the US. The CDC reported last year’s flu shot was 28% effective. The year before 30%, and the year before that 29%. So, based on this company’s reporting, the benefits are low while the side effects are common. I am just having you read what the manufacturer is stating, not my personal beliefs.”
“Yeah I got the flu from a flu shot before so I know it can have side effects.”
“You should also know the ingredients of the innoculation. There are inflammatory agents like aluminum, squalene, mercury, and formaldehyde designed to activate your immune system, as well as animal and human cell lines inside this vial. I encourage you to do your own research. You may also want to look up HEK297 and research how these cells are obtained. So, now that you are more informed about the risks and benefits, do you still want the flu shot?”
Greg sighed and shook his head slowly. “No, not after I read the risks and benefits with my own eyes.”
Wouldn’t it be nice to have a package insert for all the decisions that we have to make? A package insert from a trustworthy source, where we can see the true risks and benefits. You would feel more confident, and at ease, wouldn’t you? I know I would.
Sadly we have reached a point in our civilization where truth is relative to what the writer or speaker wants it to be. Covid shots simply do not have a package insert. No guidance, no education, no informed consent. Where do we go when this fallen world hides knowledge or the facts from us? As frustrating as this seems, we have been given a gift.
Abba, our Father in Heaven, has given us the Word that became incarnate as Yeshua/Jesus Christ. He is our role model and shows us the way, the truth, and the light. Then that same Word went into a written form, our Bible. For me, the more I get intimate with Adonai, our Lord, and read the Word, the answers come to me. A shalom/peace comes over me as well.
